An 8-year-old seedling of C. japonica 'Joshua E. Youtz', originated by Mrs. Lillian Huthert, Castro Valley, California, and propagated by Toichi Domoto Nursery, Hayward, California.

Bloom: The white, semi-double to anemone form flowers have 24 to 28 petals and average from 5 to 6.5 inches in diameter.

Plant: Plant growth is upright, dense, and rapid.

Leaf: The medium green leaves average 5.25 to 6 inches in length and 3 to 3.5 inches in width.

Bloom season: Midseason.
