This non-reticulata hybrid chance seedling of 'William's Lavender' first bloomed in 1965 and was introduced in 1969. It was originated and registered with the American Camellia Society in 1980 by Thomas Sellers of Bolivia, NC, and propagated by Laurel Lake Nursery of Salemberg, NC.
Bloom: The medium, loose peony form flower is orchid with pink overtone. Treated blooms are 4.75 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep with 36 petals, yellow anthers and cream filaments. Mature plant sets buds readily.
Plant: Plant growth is upright, open, medium in rate.
Leaf: Light green leaves 2.5" long and I.5" wide.
Bloom Season: midseason to late
