This C. japonica Japanese cultivar was registered with the American Camellia Society in 1986 by Mrs. H. S. "Vi" Stone of Baton Rouge, LA.
Bloom: A miniature anemone form with dark rose outer petals and white petaloids streaked with rose. Average size flower is 1.57 inches wide and 0.78 inches deep with 10 petals, 102 petaloids and 8 anthers. Profuse early bloomer.
Plant: Plant growth is dense and very slow. Fourteen-year old plant is scarcely 3 feet tall, very dwarf in character. Very cold hardy.
Leaf: Dark green leaves measuring 2.95 inches wide and 1.10 inches high.
Bloom Season: Early to midseason.
