Age/First Bloom/Introduced This C. japonica sport from 'Marlena Bozeman' was first observed in 1998.
General Bloom The deep red, blotched with white blooms with 27 petals and 6 petaloids and have yellow anthers. Blooms measure 4 x 2 1/4 inches. Blooms are long-lasting with heavy petal texture and petal fimbrication. Won best mutation in Baton Rouge in 2002 and Brookhaven in 2003.
Plant & Leaves Plant is upright, spreading with average growth rate and has landscape possibilities. Flowers fall in one piece. Dark green leaves are 3 1/4 inches x 2 2/10 inches.
