This C. japonica chance seedling from C. japonica 'Alta Gavin', first bloomed in 2001. It was originated and propagated by Don Bergamini of Martinez, California. It was registered in 2006.
Bloom: The medium 2.5 inch bloom is white with some flecks and spots of red. The formal double bloom is long lasting, has consistent form and falls in one piece. The flower is suitable for both landscape and exhibition. Won best seedling in Orange County 2003, Santa Clara 2003, Sacramento 2004 and Northern California 2005 and is suitable for exhibition and landscape use.
Plant: The plant is upright with average growth rate and blooms midseason.
Leaf: Dark green leaves are 3.25 x 1.5 inches.
