General Bloom The bloom consists of 65 petals and 4 petaloids. The flowers fall in one piece, have heavy petal texture, are long lasting and are consistent in form. "Mr. Tinkle, who originated this cultivar, was a very long term and much beloved member of the Oregon Camellia Society. He worked for many years hybridizing reticulatas and raising seedlings as well. This cultivar, named for his wife, is one of his nicest achievements."
