This 11-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2007 and was originated and registered by C. M. and Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida and propagated by Loch Laurel Nursery of Valdosta, Georgia.

Bloom: The medium to large 4" x 2" bloom is deep pink to light red with 20 petals, bright gold anthers and cream filaments. The plant is a profuse bloomer and has a long lasting and consistent form. Falls in one piece.

Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.

Leaf: The dark green leaves average 4" x 2". The leaves have medium serration. 

Bloom Season: Midseason to late
