This 6-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2007. It was originated, registered and propagated by William Howell of Wilmington, North Carolina.

Bloom: The large to very large sized 5.5” x 3.5” semidouble to full peony form flower is light pink. It has yellow anthers and yellow filaments. It is a profuse bloomer and falls in one piece.

Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is slow. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.

Leaf: The medium green leaves average 5” x 2.5” with medium serration.

Bloom season: Midseason to late.
