This 14-year-old C. japonica seedling of ‘Debutante’ and ‘Mathotiana Supreme’ first bloomed in 2005. It was originated, registered and propagated by Florence Crowder of Denham Springs, Louisiana.
Bloom: The medium sized 3.5” x 2” semidouble to full peony form flower is rose pink bordered with a darker rose pink. It has lemon yellow anthers and white filaments. The bloom consists of 58 petals and 13 petaloids. It is a profuse bloomer that falls in one piece with heavy petal texture. It has long lasting blooms with incurved petals.
Plant: The plant habit is spreading. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.
Leaf: The dark green leaves average 3.5” x 3.75” with high serration.
Bloom season: Early to late.
