This 10-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2007. It was originated, registered and propagated by William Howell of Wilmington, North Carolina.
Bloom: The very large sized 6” x 3” semidouble form flower is light pink variegated white. It has yellow anthers and light yellow filaments. The flowers fall in one piece with consistent form.
Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.
Leaf: The medium green leaves average 5” x 2.5” with high serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
