This 36-year-old C. reticulata chance seedling first bloomed in 1989. It was originated by Frank Pursel of Oakland, California and Hulyn Smith of Valdosta, Georgia and registered and propagated by Randolph Maphis of Tallahssee, Florida.
Bloom: The large to very large sized 4.75" x 2.5" (treated 5.25" x 3") semi-double to rose form double form flower is pink. It has yellow anthers and white filaments. This profuse bloomer falls in one piece, is long lasting, and has heavy petal texture and consistent form. This bloom has very thick petals.
Plant: The plant habit is upright and spreading. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.
Leaf: The medium green leaves have medium serration and average 4.25" x 2.5".
Bloom season: Midseason to late.
