This 14-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of 'Beatrix Hoyt' first bloomed in 2009. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia.
 
Bloom: The medium to large sized 4" x 2" formal double to loose peony form flower is white. The bloom consists stacked and pointed
petals. This profuse bloomer is long lasting, has heavy petal texture, a consistent form and falls in one piece.
 
Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is slow. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.
 
Leaf: The dark green leaves have low serration and average 3" x 1.5".
 
Bloom season: Midseason to late.
