This 15-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2014. It was originated, registered and propagated by J. Allen Bourland of Dothan, Alabama.
Bloom: The small sized 2.5" - 3" x 1" - 1.5" rose form double form flower is burgundy. It has yellow anthers and burgundy filaments. This profuse bloomer is long lasting, has heavy petal texture, fluorescence, a consistent form and falls in one piece.
Plant: The plant habit is upright and average. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping use.
Leaf: The dark green leaves have medium serration and average 2" x 1".
Bloom season: Midseason to late.
