This 10-year-old C. japonica seedling of 'Beatrix Hoyt' first bloomed in 2013. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia.
Bloom: The large sized 4" x 2" semi-double form flower is pale delicate pink shading to white at the center. It has gold anthers and white filaments. This profuse bloomer has consistent form and falls in one piece.
Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.
Leaf: The dark green leaves average 2” x 1.5” with low serration.
Bloom season: Midseason to late.
