This 7-year-old C. japonica seedling of 'Lady Laura' first bloomed in 2015. It was originated, registered and propagated by James Smelley of Moss Point, Mississippi.
Bloom: The miniature sized 2.5" x 1.5" formal double form flower is light pink with darker pink stripes. This profuse bloomer is long lasting with consistent form and falls in one piece.
Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.
Leaf: The medium green leaves average 3.5” x 2” with low serration.
Bloom season: Midseason.
