This 10-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2014. It was originated, registered and propagated by Richard Hooton of Pensacola, Florida.
Bloom: The small sized 2.8" X 2" ( 3.25" X 2" treated ) rose form double form flower is cherry red with white border. It has yellow anthers. The bloom consists of heavily textured petals. This profuse bloomer is long lasting with a consistent form and falls in one piece.
Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.
Leaf: The medium green leaves have low serration and average 3" x 1.5".
Bloom season: Early to late.
