A japonica sport of 'Evelyn Poe' that was first observed in 1965 and was first propagated in 1966. It was originated by W. Lee Poe of Birmingham, AL, and propagated by Gerbing Camellia Nursery of Fernandina Beach, FL.

Bloom:. The large to very large 5"-6" [3"-3.5" deep when gibbed and greenhouse grown] peony form bloom is blush, darker at center gradually shading to lighter color with 2 or 3 pink markings. It has gold anthers and white filaments. It is a good bloomer with large and heavy flowers that It has bloomed 100% true for at least two years on about 20 plants.

Plant: Plant growth is spreading, dense and rapid in rate.

Leaf: Dark green leaves measuring 5 to 6 inches in length and 3 to 4 inches in width.
