This 7-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first flowered in 1953. It was originated by Mrs. Robert H. Brodie, and propagated by Brodie's Biloxi Nursery of Biloxi, Mississippi.
Bloom: The large 5" x 2.5 semi-double blooms are rose-pink with petaIoids slightly variegated white, 16 to 18 petals, and 3-4 petaloids. The substance of the petals is superior. Blooms hold well to plant.
Plant: Plant growth is upright and average in type and rapid in manner.
Leaf: Leaves are large, glossy, dark green, pointed, and serrated.
Bloom Season: Midseason
