This 10-year-old japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 1955. It was originated by Wheeler's Central Georgia Nurseries of Macon, Georgia.

Bloom: The anemone form flowers 5"-6"  x 2.3"  with 20-25 vivid pink petals that have a sheen, 30-35 petaloids, and white stamens.

Leaf: Dark green, 3" x 1.5".

Plant: The growth habit is average, medium, dense branching.

Bloom season: Late season.
