This 10-year-old chance C. japonica seedling first bloomed in 1996. Originated by Hulyn Smith of Valdosta, Georgia and propagated by Valdosta Camellias of  Valdosta, Georgia.

Bloom: The very large 5.75" x 5" untreated and 6.5" x 5.25" treated peony flower is pink with small red fleck, golden anthers and pink filaments. Flowers have numerous petals with heavy petal texture. The central petals are very upstanding. The blooms have a unique color, and are long lasting and suitable for exhibition. Won Best Seedling in Gainesville, Florida 2000 Show.

Plant: Upright with vigorous growth.

Leaf: Dark green leaves are 5" x 3"
