This chance C. japonica seedling first flowered in 2002. It was originated by Dr. T. E. Lundy, and registered and propagated by Skip Vogelsang, of Pensacola, Florida.
Bloom: The medium to large 3.5" - 4.5" x 2.5", peony form flower is a rich coral red with a blush pink fringe. The blooms have 35-45 petals and 0-10 petaloids.
Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average . The dark green leaves average 3.5" x 1.5".
Bloom season: Flowers midseason to late.
