This 9-year-old C. japonica [C. japonica ‘Laverne Norris’ x unknown pollen parent] first bloomed in 2005. It was originated and registered by Clarence and Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida and propagated by Loch Laurel Nursery, Valdosta, Georgia.

Bloom: The medium sized - 4” x 3” (5” x 3” treated) semidouble to loose peony form flower is soft pink. It has gold anthers and cream filaments. Inner petals are sometimes fimbriated. The flowers fall in one piece and are long lasting.

Plant: The plant habit is spreading. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.

Leaf: The medium green leaves average 3” x 1 1/2”.
