This is the variegated form of  'Minnie Ruth', a 7-year-old C. japonica seedling of 'Marie Bracey' that first bloomed in 1973.The varigated form was observed by the originater, Paul Gilley of Grandridge, Florida in 1977.

Bloom: The medium 3.5"-4.3 x " formal double is medium rose-pink wth white blotches and some moire pattern and has 60 petals.

Plant: Average, compact, upright growth.

Leaf: Dark green leaves, 2.9" x 1.9".

Bloom season: Early to late.
