This 13-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2013. It was originated by Tom Corley of Auburn, Alabama and registered and propagated by Auburn-Opelika Men's Camellia Club of Auburn, Alabama.
 
Bloom: The small sized 2.5" x 1.5" formal double form flower is pink with red veins (RHS color 52c) and has red stripes (RHS color 50a). This profuse bloomer is long lasting with heavy petal texture and consistent form. The petals are pale pink with pink-red veins shading to pink-red at the base and near white at the edges. Each petal has at least three red stripes.
 
Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping use.
 
Leaf: The dark green leaves average 3.5” x 1.5” with low serration.
