This 12-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2014. It was originated, registered and propagated by James Walker and Leo Brown of Mobile, Alabama.
Bloom: The medium sized 3.25" x 2.5" loose peony form flower is fire red. This profuse bloomer is long lasting with a consistent form and falls in one piece.
Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.
Leaf: The dark green leaves have low serration and average 3.25" x 2.1".
Bloom season: Midseason to late.
