This 20-year old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 1996. It was originated and propagated by Jay Ellis of Keystone Heights, Florida.

Bloom: The 2.5” dark pink to medium red anemone has variegation with yellow anthers. The bloom has unique color with consistent form and is a profuse bloomer. Won two best seedling awards.

Plant: Upright and dense with vigorous growth rate and has landscape possibilities.

Leaf: Light green leaves are 2.5 x 1.25 inches.

Bloom Season: Early to midseason
