An 11-year-old chance seedling originated and propagated by A. M. Hartman, San Fernando, California which first flowered in 1954.

Bloom: The dark pink to red blossoms average 2 inches in diameter and .75 inch in depth,
 2.5 and resemble 'Mathotiana' in form. It is a true miniature, retaining its small size
on grafts.

Plant: Plant growth is average and slow.

Leaf: The dark green leaves are 2.5 inches long and .25 inches wide.

Bloom season: The flowering season is January and February.
