Registration Information for Scheduled ACS Certified Judging Schools
CLASS SCHEDULE
If you have questions about becoming a judge, updating your accreditation, or are interested in scheduling an ACS Certified Judging School, please call Lorie Huff at (877) 422-6355 or send an email with details to Lorie Huff.
Requirements for hosting and/or teaching an ACS Re-accreditation Judging School
Instructors and/or hosts are responsible for verifying judge accreditation candidates have met requirements by verifying that each attendee is an ACS member in good standing and a valid ACS Accredited Judge by referring to the Active Judge Listing, which is updated weekly. To schedule an ACS Certified Judging School, please send an email to ACS with the date, time, location, instructor name and registration instructions to ACS when a class is scheduled. Requirements for Becoming a Novice Judge

Applicant must be an American Camellia Society member in good standing. (Click Here to Join the American Camellia Society or Renew Your Membership)

Applicant must be a member of a local club or society.

Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.

Applicant must attend an approved ACS Novice Judging School/Judges’ Symposium.

Applicant must pass the final examination of the ACS Novice Judging School/Judges’ Symposium.

Applicant's contact information will be published on the Judges’ List (which is accessible online to members only) for the purpose of being contacted for show participation and to assist clubs in the development of show programs.
Requirements for Becoming an Accredited Judge

Applicant must be an American Camellia Society member in good standing. (Click Here to Join the American Camellia Society or Renew Your Membership)

Applicant must also have served as a Novice Judge in at least six (6) ACS Cooperative Shows over a two (2) to five (5) year period.

Applicant must attend an ACS Accredited Judging School and complete the written exam thereof.

List six shows in which you served as a Novice Judge and the name of one Accredited Judge on each judging team who judged with you in each show and who can certify to your competence as a judge.

Each Accredited Judge is required to attend an ACS Judging School/Judges’ Symposium every 5 years.
