This 11-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2006. It was originated by C.M. and Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida and registered by Mrs. Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida and propagated by Loch Laurel Nursery of Valdosta, Georgia.

Bloom: The medium sized 3.5” x 2” semidouble to anemone form flower is very dark pink. It has gold anthers, falls in one piece, and is long lasting.

Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.

Leaf: The dark green leaves average 3.75” x 1.75” with medium serration.

Bloom season: Midseason.
