This 9-year-old chance C. japonica seedling first bloomed in 1995 and was originated by Clarence Gordy of Ocala, Florida and propagated by Erinon Nursery of Plymouth, Florida.

Bloom: The lavender-rose formal double flower has center petals edged in deep lavender. Long-lasting flowers measure 3.5" x 1.5", [4" x 1.5" treated]. The 78 petals show unique color and heavy texture and consistent form.

Plant: The plant is upright with average growth rate and has landscape possibili­ties.

 
Leaves: Dark green leaves are 3" x 1.5".
