This 39-year old chance C. japonica seedling first bloomed in 1967. It was orignated by Harriet Harms and propagated by Gene Phillips of Gene's Nursery in Savannah, Georgia.
Bloom: The very large 5.25" x 2.25" untreated and 6.75" x 2.75 " treated semi-double flower is white to blush pink and has golden anthers and cream filaments. It is s long lasting and shows consistent form. Blooms have 16 petals and the inner petals are crinkled, notched and folded.
Plant: Upright with vigorous growth and landscape possibilities. Long lasting flowers fall in one piece.
Leaf: Dark green leaves are 4" x 2".
Bloom season: Early
