The 12-year-old seedling of C.x williamsii 'Elegant Beauty' x C. japonica 'Bokuhan' first flowered in 1980. It was originated by Les Jury of New Plymouth, New Zealand in 1989.

Bloom: The small 2.95" x 1.18" rose formal double to formal double flowers are claret rose (Colour RHS.CC.50A) with 32 petals and a rare stamen with creamy-yellow anthers. The flowers have an irridescent sheen and average.

Plant: It has an upright, medium and open growth habit.

Leaf: Light green leaves average 2.36" x 1.18".
