Parks, and Du Yueqiang, is an outstanding effort to bring to a wider audience information about 199 of the estimated 280 species of camellia. Written in Chinese and English, each entry includes general comments and the botanical characteristics of each species, as well as beautiful color photographs. It is the hope of the authors that this little known information will aid camellia gardeners, hobbyists and hybridizers in making informed decisions about plant selections.
